SwitchA’s interface ethernet 10 is connected to ethernet 10 of SwitchB with the below configurations on the switch.

SwitchA(config)#interface ethernet 10
SwitchA(config-if)#switchport mode access
SwitchA(config-if)#switchport access vlan 10
SwitchA(config-if)#exit
SwitchB(config)#interface ethernet 10
SwitchB(config-if)#switchport mode trunk
SwitchB(config-if)#exit

A user connected to the VLAN 10 in SwitchA is not able to connect to the user connected to the VLAN 10 on SwitchB. Identify the issue in the configuration.

Ethernet 10 of SwitchA is configured as access port which will allow the traffics of VLAN 10 only. For switch to switch we need to enable it as trunk port

As Ethernet 10 of SwitchB is configured as trunk it will not allow VLAN 10 traffic we need to convert it to access port associated to VLAN 10

There is no issue with the configuration. Connect Roll over cable between two switches to enable communication

No need to change anything in switch issue is with end user devices
